Position Summary
The Procurement Officer will support procurement operations and inventory management processes to ensure smooth terminal functionality. Working under the supervision of the Procurement Supervisor, the role focuses on maintaining procurement compliance, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating purchasing activities, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of equipment and operational materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, equipment supplies, and spare parts availability.
- Prepare and file purchase requisitions accurately.
- Maintain records of tenders, bids, and procurement documentation.
- Follow procurement policies established by the CFO.
- Support vendor selection processes based on quality, capability, and performance.
- Ensure adherence to inventory control systems and monitor stock levels and obsolescence.
- Conduct regular stock reviews with store teams to verify quantities and detect shortages early.
- Manage automated purchase requisitions generated through inventory systems.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and accurate supplier databases.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of procured items.
- Perform additional procurement and inventory control duties when required.
Critical Qualifications
- College Degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
- Engineering knowledge or related technical experience is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year purchasing experience in private industry (shipping or transportation preferred).
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles related to budgeting and cost control.
