Technical Skills Development Programme at Lafarge Africa Plc – 3 Locations

Lafarge Africa Plc, a member of the LafargeHolcim Group and one of the world’s foremost providers of innovative building and concrete solutions, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for its Technical Skills Development Programme.

This initiative is designed to empower Ordinary National Diploma (OND) holders with industry-relevant technical competencies required for employment or self-employment within the cement manufacturing and maintenance sectors.

Programme Title: Technical Skills Development Programme

Locations: Ewekoro (Ogun), Mfamosing (Cross River), Ashaka (Gombe)
Programme Duration: 18 Months
Application Deadline: 26th February 2026

Programme Overview

The Lafarge Technical Skills Development Programme is an intensive vocational training scheme focused on developing practical expertise in key technical disciplines within cement production and industrial maintenance.

Selected candidates will undergo structured tuition-free classroom sessions alongside hands-on technical training across the following areas:

  • Maintenance Processes – Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation, Welding and Fabrication
  • Cement Manufacturing Processes – Production, Process Operations and Quality Assurance

Participants will receive a monthly stipend to support personal expenses throughout the training period. Upon successful completion, trainees will be awarded the Lafarge Internal Certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
