Role Summary

The Procurement Buyer will oversee sourcing activities related to fleet services, maintenance spares, tyres, and logistics procurement categories. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency through strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and compliance with procurement policies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Fleet & Logistics, Supply Chain Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders within the Coca-Cola HBC system to deliver sustainable commercial value while maintaining service quality and cost optimization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze spot purchases and identify consolidation and cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Execute strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with country and group procurement strategies.
  • Upload, maintain, and manage contracts within procurement systems and ERP platforms.
  • Maintain accurate master data and enable contracts within ERP systems.
  • Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships that drive mutual value.
  • Monitor and report Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Key Business Indicators (KBIs).
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational needs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Finance and Legal teams on contractual and risk matters.
  • Manage sourcing events including RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and provide award recommendations.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle management including renewals, amendments, and expirations.
  • Support the Category Lead – Logistics in executing procurement strategies.

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement, logistics operations, fleet services, or mechanical spares sourcing.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience using SAP or similar ERP systems with purchasing focus.
  • Experience in mechanical spares procurement or fleet services is an added advantage.
  • Professional procurement certification such as CIPS (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong functional and technical procurement expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
