Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

As the Supply Chain Officer, you will be the backbone of the company’s procurement and global logistics arm. This role requires a meticulous professional capable of managing complex shipping processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating the delivery of high-value medical equipment from international origins to local sites.

Core Responsibilities

  • Logistics Strategy: Execute end-to-end international shipping maneuvers including EXW, FOB, and DDP arrangements.
  • Procurement Excellence: Manage RFQs, evaluate vendor bids, and streamline purchase order lifecycles.
  • Inventory Integrity: Supervise site deliveries and maintain precise stock records for technical healthcare materials.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Partner with customs agents and freight forwarders to manage duty waivers and ensure rapid clearance of cargo.
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain a rigorous paper trail of bills of lading, packing lists, and OEM compliance certifications.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solid background in procurement and international logistics.
  • Deep understanding of Incoterms and customs framework.
  • Ability to handle sensitive medical or technical equipment logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Professional certifications like CIPS are a plus).

Career Tip for Supply Chain Professionals

Master the "Soft" Side of Logistics: While technical knowledge of Incoterms is vital, your ability to negotiate with vendors and build relationships with customs officials is what prevents costly delays. Always have a "Plan B" carrier ready for high-priority shipments.
