Job Opportunity: Procurement Officer (MEP Materials)

Locations: Lagos and Ogun State

Employment Type: Full-time (On-site, Mon – Sat)

Remuneration: ₦250,000+ monthly (Negotiable)

Role Summary

Workforce Group is looking for a results-driven Procurement Officer specializing in MEP Materials. This is a technical role requiring a candidate with an extensive, verifiable network of vendors in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing space. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality HVAC equipment, fire protection systems, and electrical switchgear while ensuring zero delays in project timelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Technical Sourcing: Procure specialized MEP materials including pumps, valves, plumbing fittings, and high-tension cables.
  • Vendor Management: Expand and maintain a robust database of reliable MEP suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Negotiation: Secure favorable pricing and payment terms to drive cost optimization without sacrificing material quality.
  • Project Alignment: Work closely with site engineers to ensure all materials meet strict project specifications.
  • Reporting: Manage purchase orders, cost analysis, and detailed procurement documentation.

Requirements & Competencies

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience specifically in MEP construction procurement.
  • A proven, verifiable network of MEP vendors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP brands and international supply chain standards.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure project deadlines across Lagos and Ogun sites.
