Job Title: Internal Audit Trainee Programme

Locations: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Eleme (Rivers), Benin (Edo), Awka and Onitsha (Anambra), Owerri (Imo), Mowe (Ogun), Ibadan (Oyo), Warri (Delta), and Akure (Ondo).

Are you a recent graduate with a keen interest in auditing, compliance, and risk management? Marketsquare is looking for enthusiastic, analytical, and detail-oriented individuals to join its Internal Audit Trainee Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the internal audit team in carrying out audits across different business units and operational processes.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining audit documentation and working papers.
  • Participate in evaluating compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Contribute to risk identification and assessment activities.
  • Help develop audit reports and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving internal controls and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Financial Management, or any related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and develop a career in internal auditing.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
