Reckitt Recruiting Logistics Manager for West Africa Operations in Lagos

Global consumer health and hygiene company Reckitt has announced the recruitment of a Logistics Manager – West Africa for its operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

The multinational company, known for producing widely used household and healthcare products, said the new role is aimed at strengthening supply chain operations and improving logistics efficiency across the West African region.

According to the job details released by the company, the successful candidate will oversee warehousing, transportation, freight optimization, and third-party logistics coordination while ensuring operational excellence throughout the supply chain network.

The position also requires the management of service level agreements with logistics partners, performance monitoring through key performance indicators, and compliance with logistics procedures and audit standards.

Reckitt explained that the selected professional will contribute to cost-saving initiatives, support tendering processes, and drive improvements in warehousing and transportation services. Responsibilities will also include monitoring supplier payments, managing customs classifications and duties, and ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics activities.

The company is seeking candidates with a relevant degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related disciplines, along with a minimum of three years of experience in warehousing and freight management. Experience in FMCG or logistics-related industries will be an added advantage.

Applicants are expected to possess strong analytical abilities, supply chain planning knowledge, leadership qualities, and expertise in business process improvement and logistics management.
