Nigerian Breweries Announces HEINEKEN Global Graduate Program for Human Resources
Nigerian Breweries Plc has opened applications for the HEINEKEN Global Graduate Program – Human Resources, giving young Nigerian graduates the opportunity to gain international experience and develop leadership skills within the global HEINEKEN network.
The graduate programme is designed to prepare future business leaders through a structured three-year development path that combines hands-on experience, mentorship, and global exposure.
According to the company, participants will complete three rotations lasting six months each. The first rotation will take place within the Nigerian operating company, where graduates will gain foundational experience and learn about the organization’s culture, operations, and strategy.
The second rotation will involve a cross-functional assignment within Nigeria, allowing participants to broaden their understanding of different business functions and how they work together.
Successful candidates will later proceed to an international assignment during the third rotation, aimed at building global business exposure and strengthening cultural adaptability.
After completing the rotations, graduates will transition into management-level roles within Nigerian Breweries in Nigeria, where they will continue their professional growth and leadership journey.
The company explained that the Human Resources division plays a critical role in attracting, developing, and engaging talent while supporting business growth through effective people management strategies.
Nigerian Breweries further stated that selected graduates will benefit from mentorship opportunities, access to a global graduate network, and extensive learning and development programs designed to enhance professional and leadership capabilities.
Candidates applying for the programme must possess at least five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, and a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related fields. Completion of the NYSC programme is also mandatory.
The company added that the opportunity is intended for fresh graduates with no more than one year of post-graduation experience. Applicants must also be willing to undertake international assignments as part of the programme.
The recruitment process will include online assessments, interviews, and an assessment centre exercise for shortlisted candidates.
