Programme Overview
The HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) Operators Training Programme is structured to equip participants with the technical knowledge and practical skills required for safe and efficient mining operations. The programme combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience to prepare candidates for real-world equipment handling.
Participants will undergo a comprehensive training process that includes behavioural assessments, safety orientation, classroom sessions, simulations, workshops, and extensive field practice.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC/NECO including English Language and Mathematics.
- Technical college graduates with NTC, NABTEB, or Trade Test (I, II, III) are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be between 22 and 35 years old.
- Valid means of identification is required.
- Good physical and mental health.
- Strong commitment to safety and discipline.
- Willingness to participate in intensive training and assessments.
- Prior experience in mining or heavy equipment operation is an advantage but not compulsory.
