Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Documentation and Report Officer to ensure accurate job tracking, proper documentation, and timely reporting within the Fiber department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a complete and accurate log of all jobs (open, in-progress, completed, and cancelled) with proper dates, engineer assignments, and status updates.
  • Record all incoming requests, job updates, fault logs, and closures in the job tracking system in real time.
  • Capture materials used per job and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Maintain well-organized physical and digital filing systems using consistent naming conventions.
  • Conduct monthly filing audits to identify and resolve gaps or missing records.
  • Archive job cards, completion forms, fault reports, and project documents within 24 hours of job closure.
  • Compile weekly department activity reports for review by the Fiber Backoffice Team Lead.
  • Prepare monthly performance dashboards covering KPIs, job volumes, SLA performance, and materials consumption.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by the Team Lead or HOD.
  • Act as Coordinator backup and step in seamlessly during absences.

Requirements

  • Minimum OND / HND in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative, data entry, or records management roles.
  • High level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with job tracking or CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in the Telecoms industry is a plus.
