Job Title: Stock Issuance Voucher Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Stock Issuance Voucher Officer (also known as Store Issue Officer) to join our team in Port Harcourt. This critical role ensures accurate documentation, proper authorization, and controlled release of inventory and materials from our stores, supporting smooth operations across our various hospitality businesses.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process Requisition and Issue Vouchers (RIV) for all stock movements
  • Review and verify requisitions for proper authorization, item specifications, and availability before issuance
  • Physically pick, pack, and hand over materials to authorized personnel
  • Sign issue vouchers as the issuer and ensure recipients sign upon collection
  • Update ledger cards, ERP systems, or tally cards in real-time to maintain accurate inventory balances
  • Maintain proper documentation to prevent discrepancies, theft, or unauthorized stock issuance
  • Ensure all vouchers include essential details such as voucher number, date, item description, quantity, purpose of issue, and signatures

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or stock issuance
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in the use of ERP systems or inventory management software
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
