About the Role

The Team Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Plant Manager while assisting the wider plant team with administrative coordination. The role requires confidentiality, strong organizational ability, initiative, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Plant Manager’s calendar, appointments, and schedules.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.
  • Arrange travel logistics including visas, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Organize meetings and ensure adequate preparation of meeting materials.
  • Attend meetings when required and take notes or provide administrative assistance.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal staff professionally.
  • File, manage, and retrieve corporate documents and reports.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of integrated management systems within the plant.
  • Screen phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence appropriately.
  • Handle incoming emails, letters, and communications on behalf of the Plant Manager.
  • Prepare departmental documents including reports, presentations, and briefing papers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant administrative experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email applications.
  • Ability to organize and manage complex administrative activities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong data interpretation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of local dialects is an added advantage.
  • High level of professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
