Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant, warehouse, and office facilities. This critical role ensures smooth daily operations, supports uninterrupted furniture production, and maintains a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including factory floor, warehouses, and office spaces
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure
• Ensure proper functioning of utilities such as power supply, water systems, HVAC, and waste management
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of carpentry machines, upholstery equipment, and finishing tools
• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Prepare and manage facility budgets, including maintenance and operational costs
• Oversee facility security systems, access control, and surveillance
• Ensure safeguarding of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives for wood, foam, fabric, and other materials
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain emergency preparedness procedures
• Source, negotiate, and manage service providers for cleaning, security, maintenance, and waste disposal
• Optimize space utilization for production, storage, and office operations
• Maintain accurate records of company assets including machinery, tools, and facility equipment

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Estate Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in facility management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Experience in furniture production or related industries is a strong advantage
• Deep knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and industrial manufacturing equipment
