About the Trainee Program

The Packaging Technical Trainee Program is designed to develop future technical leaders for AB InBev’s global operations. The program provides participants with comprehensive exposure to packaging operations, quality control, supply chain processes, and modern brewery technologies.

During the 18-month program, trainees will build both technical and leadership capabilities while collaborating with experienced professionals across the organization. Participants will also gain opportunities to build global professional networks within the AB InBev ecosystem.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants may be considered for permanent roles within the organization based on performance and business needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of packaging plant operations and packaging processes.
  • Understand how packaging operations impact product quality and consistency.
  • Maintain personal competence and operational flexibility.
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Assist in developing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate manual and automated production machines according to operational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within assigned operational areas.
  • Utilize Quality Failure Reports (QFRs) when required.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis using the 5 WHY methodology.
  • Manage quality control at the source during packaging processes.
  • Understand supply chain processes from warehouse operations to customer delivery.
  • Identify operational problems and support problem-solving activities.
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance and asset care activities.
  • Operate production processes according to established SOP guidelines.
  • Apply workplace organization standards through the 5S methodology.
  • Develop knowledge of brewery utilities production and distribution systems.
  • Understand instrumentation and control systems used in packaging operations.
  • Contribute to operational reports such as AB reports when required.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in an AB InBev manufacturing environment with strong performance records.
