Role Summary
The Digital Banking Officer will lead the bank’s digital banking initiatives, driving revenue, customer acquisition, and operational efficiency across digital channels. The role involves monitoring digital trends, implementing projects, ensuring compliance, and enhancing customer experience through innovative campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor competition and stay updated on channel service developments.
- Design and implement strategies to increase revenue across digital banking channels.
- Support implementation of new projects and digital banking change requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns and services.
- Create and execute campaigns across multiple digital platforms, analyzing data to improve effectiveness.
- Develop operational procedures for digital banking operations.
- Monitor performance metrics and use data-driven insights to improve customer acquisition strategies.
- Limit and reduce risk by monitoring transactions for potential fraud or security breaches.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, AML, and electronic payment regulations.
- Provide ongoing training and development for employees as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in digital banking within a reputable financial institution.
- Team player with strong customer-centric and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Digital Banking or Cybersecurity is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with core banking software and digital banking platforms.
- Strong IT and data analysis skills.
- Good understanding of financial regulations.
