Logistic Coordinator at Saipem – Bonga Nigeria North Project

Saipem, a global leader in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) services, is recruiting an experienced Logistic Coordinator to support operations on the Bonga Nigeria North Project.

This role is critical to ensuring seamless offshore personnel rotation, expatriate compliance, and efficient coordination of marine and logistics activities in line with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Renewable)

Mission

  • Coordinate and supervise expatriate crew change and personnel logistics activities via Cotonou hub
  • Ensure full compliance with immigration, tax regulations, HR governance and local laws
  • Supervise marine agency activities relating to personnel movement and port calls
  • Maintain cost control, operational efficiency and documentation accuracy
  • Facilitate coordination between HR and Logistics for seamless offshore personnel rotation

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate expatriate crew sign-on and sign-off activities
  • Liaise with marine agents for vessel clearance, manifests and immigration procedures
  • Ensure compliance with visa, landing permit and tax requirements
  • Prevent mobilization without proper documentation and project approval
  • Interface with HR and AFC for expatriate tax compliance matters
  • Supervise passport processing and immigration stamping procedures
  • Coordinate airport transfers, hotel bookings and offshore logistics arrangements
  • Review and verify marine agent invoices related to personnel logistics

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Logistic Coordinator within an EPC company
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Strong understanding of immigration and expatriate compliance processes
  • Ex-Saipem employees are encouraged to apply
