Job Overview

Mondelēz International is recruiting a Line Lead to support manufacturing excellence at its Ondo facility. This role is designed for professionals ready to take on leadership responsibilities on the production line while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The Line Lead will play a critical role in sustaining technical expertise, developing team capability, and delivering consistent production results aligned with site and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate production line activities to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale targets
  • Translate site objectives into clear line-level and individual performance goals
  • Oversee cost control, budgeting, and loss elimination initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Drive autonomous and progressive maintenance activities on assigned equipment
  • Develop, coach, and support team members, including succession planning
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Ensure availability of production materials to prevent downtime
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
  • Enforce risk assessments, LOTO compliance, and safe machine operation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience leading manufacturing or production line teams
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma principles
  • Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including union environment exposure
  • High attention to detail, discipline, and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for decisions

Qualifications

  • BSc or HND in Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a process or manufacturing plant
