Job Summary

The ICT Officer will play a key role in maintaining the company’s information technology systems, ensuring that digital tools, networks, and applications operate efficiently and securely. This position supports daily business operations by resolving technical issues, managing systems, and assisting staff in the effective use of technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for computer hardware, software applications, and network systems.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and minimal downtime.
  • Implement routine system updates, backups, and security measures to protect company data.
  • Support the deployment and optimization of new IT systems and digital solutions.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve network, system, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and system configurations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • BSc or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of practical experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.

Technical Competencies

  • Proven experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, system integration, and reporting tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Windows-based operating systems and enterprise networking concepts.
  • Experience with IT service management or ticketing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Personal Skills

  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism.
