Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant will support daily HR operations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR systems management, and staff welfare initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Training & Development
- Support the HR Business Partner in executing recruitment and talent acquisition activities
- Assist with planning and coordinating training and development programs
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees
- Implement and manage a structured buddy-system for new hires
HR Information Systems (HRIS)
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support management decisions
- Ensure confidentiality, data accuracy, and policy compliance
Employee Relations & Effectiveness
- Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and customer focus
- Apply problem-solving skills to address HR-related concerns
- Promote cooperation and consistent performance across teams
Documentation & Leave Administration
- Assist with HR documentation, policies, and procedures
- Support leave administration in line with company guidelines
- Provide feedback through HR Clinic activities
Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives throughout the year
- Coordinate staff social events in collaboration with Admin and Marketing teams
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and provide insights
- Support recognition and reward initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of progressive HR experience (FMCG or luxury retail experience is an advantage)
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HR generalist experience is preferred
