Job Summary

The Graduate Trainee – Credit Officer will support credit operations by identifying potential SME clients, collecting loan applications, conducting preliminary credit evaluations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire potential SME clients through direct sales and channel partnerships
  • Collect loan applications and supporting documentation
  • Maintain regular contact with clients for servicing and cross-selling
  • Ensure compliance with KYC, AMI, and internal credit policies
  • Conduct preliminary evaluation of clients based on creditworthiness
  • Coordinate with the credit team for loan approval and disbursement processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of a university degree in a finance-related discipline (Second Class Upper Division)
  • 0–1 year experience as a Credit Officer, especially in SME or business loans
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel and conduct field visits
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
