Standard Bank Group is currently recruiting a highly driven Executive Banker to manage and grow relationships within its Executive Banking segment.

Job Description

The Executive Banker will serve as the primary relationship manager for Executive Banking clients, providing tailored banking solutions that meet customer needs while supporting the bank’s growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new Executive Banking customers and open new accounts.
  • Cross-sell banking products and services by identifying customer needs and referring opportunities to relevant business units.
  • Grow new-to-bank Executive Banking customers, balance sheets, and income streams in line with strategic objectives.
  • Promote responsible lending practices while increasing branch advances.
  • Proactively offer banking solutions through outbound engagement and digital onboarding.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis for new and existing customers.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships to drive retention and referrals.
  • Balance relationship management between borrowing and non-borrowing customers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a University Degree.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in sales and relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales performance and profitability.
