Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Role Overview

The Account Manager will play a key role in managing and growing relationships with Glovo's business partners. The successful candidate will work closely with partner stores to enhance visibility, improve performance, and drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase partner visibility across offline retail locations.
  • Manage partner relationships from onboarding through ongoing business development and performance management.
  • Gather partner feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve products, operations, and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor partner performance using key metrics and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and organizational targets.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities through commercial negotiations and partner monetization initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners through regular communication and proactive engagement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners and various internal departments.
  • Ensure that partner information and content displayed on the platform remain accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare reports and analyze business data to support decision-making and performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' experience in account management, sales, consulting, or a related commercial role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify solutions to business challenges.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and Google Workspace tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in French and strong English communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an inclusive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
