Job Purpose
The Sales Officer will be responsible for expanding the bank’s customer base by acquiring new agents, increasing account volumes, and driving transaction growth within the assigned territory. The role focuses on strengthening the bank’s agency banking network while ensuring sales targets and performance indicators are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will also support marketing campaigns, manage agent relationships, and promote Hope PSBank’s digital financial products within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Create awareness of Hope PSBank products and financial services within the assigned market.
- Identify and develop prospective retail markets and clusters for agent recruitment and account acquisition.
- Support ongoing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage agency banking agents.
- Manage agent registration, setup, branding, and promotional activities.
- Act as a liaison between the bank and agents or agent managers.
- Organize retail sales campaigns such as cluster sales drives and STORM activities.
- Drive agents and agent managers to achieve defined sales targets.
- Resolve customer service issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Head or management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 0 – 2 years of experience in mobile money, telecommunications, FMCG, or financial services sectors.
- Experience working with aggregators or agency banking networks is an added advantage.
- Candidates must reside in Onitsha or nearby areas.
Required Skills

- Good understanding of retail banking products and MSME businesses.
