Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited is a leading Nigerian beverage manufacturer known for producing and distributing globally recognized soft drink brands such as Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Teem, Lipton Ice Tea, Aquafina, and H2oH!. The company operates multiple modern bottling facilities strategically located across Nigeria to ensure efficient production and nationwide distribution. In addition to its beverage portfolio, the company has expanded into the Home and Personal Care segment with the introduction of the 2SURE brand, starting with its Hand and Surface Sanitizer product line.

Job Title: Territory Development Manager

Locations: Aba (Abia State) and Enugu State

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Territory Development Manager will drive sales growth within assigned locations by strengthening customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and implementing sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain productive relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct market intelligence activities to uncover new business opportunities and understand consumer demand.
  • Implement approved annual business strategies within assigned territory.
  • Ensure effective product visibility through merchandising and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Collect customer feedback and collaborate with relevant internal teams for resolution.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales activity and performance reports.
  • Ensure product availability across distribution channels.
  • Execute route-to-market plans effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance of team members.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends and evolving sales techniques.
  • Schedule meetings with potential clients to negotiate and finalize business deals.

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in FMCG sales.
  • At least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or Sales Management tools.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
