Job Overview
The Duty Agent will be responsible for managing airport check-in activities and ensuring passengers receive prompt and efficient service for booking and travel-related processes. The role involves direct interaction with customers, ticketing operations, travel information support, and post-departure administrative duties.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Duty Officer and play an important role in delivering excellent passenger experience while supporting daily airport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding Green Africa airline products and services.
- Educate passengers about new and existing travel offerings.
- Provide travel information, recommendations, and booking assistance.
- Make reservations and issue tickets when required.
- Plan travel routes and calculate ticket costs using available systems and schedules.
- Prepare fare quotations and send booking confirmations via email.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports at the end of each shift.
- Generate invoices, receive payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Confirm seat availability for requested travel dates.
- Maintain and update Passenger Name Records (PNR).
- Inform customers about essential travel details including schedules and terminals.
- Handle post-departure documentation and operational activities.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aimed at building customer loyalty.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Airport Management or Duty Managers.
