Job Summary

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will identify workplace hazards, implement preventive safety measures, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement workplace safety protection policies and accident prevention programs.
  • Ensure prompt reporting and investigation of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Monitor safety standards and recommend improvements to reduce operational risks.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with evolving standards.
  • Organize safety awareness programs and employee training initiatives.
  • Ensure required licenses and registrations remain valid.
  • Interpret factory compliance with applicable fire and safety codes.
  • Review construction and facility plans for safety compliance.
  • Monitor safety inspection programs and prioritize hazard corrections.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Environmental Management, Safety, or related discipline.
  • 7 – 10 years relevant HSE experience.
  • Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations.
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Membership of professional bodies such as ISPON is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
