Territory Development Manager

Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited, a leading beverage manufacturing company in Nigeria, is currently seeking an experienced Territory Development Manager to drive product sales and strengthen customer relationships across assigned territories.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, expanding market reach, and ensuring efficient product availability within designated territories. This role involves managing customer relationships, monitoring team performance, and executing route-to-market initiatives to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify sales opportunities and understand customer needs.
  • Implement business strategies aimed at achieving sales growth.
  • Execute merchandising and product display techniques to improve market visibility.
  • Collect customer feedback and liaise with internal teams for prompt resolution.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to management.
  • Ensure product availability within assigned territories.
  • Implement route-to-market strategies effectively.
  • Supervise sales representatives and monitor performance.
  • Schedule meetings with potential clients to negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best sales practices.

Requirements

  • BSc or HND in any relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management tools.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years FMCG sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
